**GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Continuously monitor the local and regional markets and supplier developments to proactively engage in strategic sourcing events
- Comply with Proposal Schedules and Priorities
- Administer Strategic Sourcing Plans during proposal initiation and properly transition to project execution or manage strategic work packages through execution as assigned
- Develop and communicate preliminary Requests for Quotation (RFQ's)
- Prepare bid market analysis for all must win projects and collaborate with category management
- Actively participate in proposal responses with final RFQ preparation, supplier evaluations, and bid pricing analysis
- Prepare and participate bid compilation process and analysis
- Identify commercial and business risk associated with 3 rd party goods and services
- Facilitate the selection of suppliers for inclusion in proposals
- Participate in development of Project Procurement response to bid clarifications including updating of bid analysis and recommending the PSS position and pricing
- Participate in all proposal post-bid analysis to identify lessons to be learned for future bid and proposal responses
- Actively engage in transiting the plan to the Project Procurement Lead, including post award communication and escalation
- Comply with trade compliance and facilitate Trade Compliance Analysis
- Participate in development of a 3 rd party goods and services execution plan to ensure proposal strategy to project execution with Project Procurement Lead, Sales and Project Management
- Develop data requirements, collect and analyze the data including cost, cost levers and target costing issues
- Develop and continually improve skills and competencies of Project Procurement professionals engaged in proposal and proposal support
- Understand customer requirement analyses to meet customers procurement needs and requirements and align these with pursuit requirements
- Participate, contribute, and/ or perform contract negotiation preparation and contract negotiations with suppliers
- Identify opportunities for expanded supplier relationships to enable enhanced business partnerships and offerings
- Develop close relationships with both suppliers and appropriate business customers
- Communicate results of improved performance to procurement organization
**MINIMUM JOB **REQUIREMENTS**
Business B.A./ B.S.
OR Engineering/ Construction degree required
Experience in process controls, construction, EPC or other relevant industries strongly desired
+ 5 years of experience Strategic sourcing/ Category Management experience
Advanced English Skills
Procurement/ Supply Chain relevant experience
CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) from I.S.M.
(Institute of Supply Management) or other affiliations is desired
