About the Role:
An intermediate to qualified engineer level. Based on BSC global strategy proceedures the Supplier Engineer for New Products is responsible to evaluates and select best technology, materials, suppliers for New Products needs. While identify potencial cost savings or risk. Assignments have clear and specified objectives in terms of technology, quality, cost, service and timing; that requires diligent investigation of unlimited number of variables.
Acts as liaison between multiple global and local functional areas.
Your Responsibilities Include:
:Supports and interfaces with (but not limited to) R and D, Process Development, Quality, Production, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Marketing, Commodities, Technical Functions, and External Suppliers.
:Leads Problem solving oriented, to anticipate / mitigate risks / issues when they are identified during the entire process of the projects of a New Product.
:Provides support to multiple projects simultaneously.
:Responsible to achieve business, projects, and Supplier Engineering department objectives in terms of Quality, Cost, time and Service, etc.
:Drives Continuous Improvement from early Project stages of New Products to Production.
:Solves project needs related to (but not limited to) technology, Materials, Suppliers, Quality, Cost, Service, Timing, etc.
:Leads all project needs related to Supplier Engineering through BSC process, structure and policies stablished.
:Communicates effectively with all Internal and External Stakeholders.
:Direct responsible to monitor, control and achieve all Supplier Engineering KPIs related to New Products.
What Were Looking For:
:Bachelor: Materials, Machanical,Electromechanical, Electronic,Electrical Industrial or equivalent experience.
:English Level required: B2 (70 : 79)
:At least 2 years of experience in similar positions
:Desired knowledge: Tools(Statistics, Technical Manuals, Kaizen,Six Sigma),Process Improvement.
