**Supply Chain Data Manager** will supervise a team of analysts who support the enterprise Global Supply Chain team enabling a digital supply chain capability for cross divisional supply chain, planning, procurement insights and analytics.
This role will partner closely with the procurement analytics, site planning and IT teams, in the development of the digital supply chain capabilities including, standard KPI, API and reporting automation to various source systems, dashboard capabilities showcasing key insights to drive strategic capabilities across the Supply Chain and Procurement functions.
This role will lead multiple key initiatives to support technology and analytical needs across the enterprise supply chain.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Build and develop the SC/ Reporting & Analytics function aligned within the Procurement Center of Excellence, a key part of Thermo Fisher's digital supply chain strategy
- Establish and drive automation of existing and new reports and standardization of process and execution within the function, including consistent reports, metrics, data sources, etc.
- Manage workload and prioritization of reporting & analytics requests from business and supply chain users
- Collect, model and analyze data in support of materials management, planning, supply chain, inventory, supplier, category level data for all sites.
Normalizes data as required
- Develop dashboards showcasing key insights for required data sets

Develop strategy and API to obtain required data from key source systems (ERP/Data Lakes / other DB)
- Ability to support more complex requests for reporting and analysis
- Take the lead on more critical initiatives (pipeline, data classification, part mastering)
- Expert on supply chain / material management / planning / inventory data available for reporting and complexities of our data
- Serve as 'super user' for supply chain tools, providing training, admin support such as new users / access, maintenance, process improvement, etc.
- Support opportunity identification and analysis based on spend reporting
- Drive category analytics to inform category strategies and supply performance management (including demand trends, suppliers, common parts, market data, etc.)
- Support ad hoc data and analytics requests and consolidation based on category management and other business needs
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts on more complex projects and requests
- Provide guidance, oversight and coaching for a team covering supply chain analysis
- Serve as primary point of contact and escalation point for all supply chain analytics needs serviced out of the Procurement Center of Excellence team
- Develop, optimize, and maintain analytical packages for the sites & network stakeholders that allow them to drive the best decisions for Thermo Fisher
- Support customer (internal and external) escalations-analyze and communicate the impact to the sites & network leaders
- Work with extended data analytics community to incorporate all solutions into the centralized processes so that targeted work can have universal benefit to the organization
- Provide analytical coverage and problem solving across supply chain ~ demand, supply, materials management, distribution
- Perform data gathering from multiple sources (E1, EDW, Hyperion, Oracle R12, Made 2 manage, Cognos, other as required)
- Perform data reporting via Excel, Microsoft Project, other
- Develop dashboards and power point for data reporting
- Use of root cause analysis and PPI system for sustainable corrective action to maintain customer experience service levels.
- Develop and distribute daily, weekly, monthly reports
- Partner with the analytics team to insure process consistency in reporting and analytics.
- Look for JDI (Just Do it) opportunities that provide an immediate impact and longer term based trend analysis
- Collaborate with others across the organization to drive best practices and process excellence

**Functional & Technical Skills**
- Advanced analytics skills required - ability to collect / interpret data to drive supply chain decisions

Excel expert, experience with Power BI, Tableau and Alteryx is necessary.
- Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations knowledge required
- Expertise in statistical and financial models
- Experience with translational databases (e.g., MS Access) and coding (e.g., Macros) is a plus
- Experience with workflow management tools (ServiceNow, QuickBase) - Nice to have
- Experience implementing data lakes is a plus
- Alteryx Certified is desired
