The system administrator position provides support for a range of activities and processes, including but not limited to: event detection and notification, service request, and incident management for servers and computer systems, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and administering our software, hardware, and radio access networks.
Supporting system users, troubleshooting, and resolving problems within the system.
**Responsibilities**:
- Adhere to the establishment of Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
- Escalate problems and/or high priority issues according to established procedures.
- Install and configure radio access networks along with traditional data center software and hardware.
- Administer network servers and technology tools, including RAN components
- Configure accounts and workstations
- Monitor performance and maintain systems in accordance with requirements.
- Troubleshoot problems and outages
- Responsible for providing 7/24/365 service and monitoring.
- Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls
- Update systems with new releases and models.
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Maintain technical documentation, manuals, best practices and IT policies
- Set up alarms to monitor and automate the process.
- In-depth technical understanding of our DISD network and file system infrastructure.
- Generate scripts to keep systems under control.
