Teak Specification Specialist
The open position is based in San Jose. You follow given leads and generate your own ones within the geographic region assigned to you. You build and maintain a strong relationship to trend setters like architects, existing clients and distributors and develop new market opportunities. You are able to understand the needs of the markets and clients and are able to transform them into an efficient and effective solution. You report directly to the Head of Sales and Marketing of the company. Your main functions will be
Gain a profound knowledge of Novelteak’s materials, products and production abilities
Follow up with all your assigned accounts in agenda and lead management software
Visit clients, stakeholders and specific events
Communicate all new products and innovations to your accounts
Elaborate and validate graphic and written information about product opportunities
Coordinate sampling, quotes and follow up until order confirmation
Coordinate and supervise needed technical certification and testing
Periodic reporting of progress, trends & new opportunities

Candidates Profile
You are mobile in your own vehicle or public transport and work out of your home desk or assigned office space. We expect flexibility and disposition from our collaborators when special projects have to be delivered. The requirements for this position are:
? A deep technical understanding of materials, construction industry, interior design, furniture
? An architect, engineering or industrial design degree or qualified and documented experience
? Work experience with industrial standards, technical drawings, documentations, presentations
? Disciplined and independent project and task management and well organized and planned work habits
? Strong interpersonal skills, capability to network and willingness to learn
? Dynamic, loyal and honest personality
? Able to handle heavy workload and tight schedules
? Fluent in English and Spanish, both oral and written
? Willingness and permission to travel in the region
? Valid driver’s license
