**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**
Wind River Systems is seeking an experienced high-performing Technical Lead Software Engineer for a position developing a cloud-based platform.
In a company with significant growth and the leader in both cloud native and embedded platforms, you will be part of a team developing high value features for external customers and internal engineering teams.
You will work with a variety of tools, cloud providers, and products to ensure delivery of high-quality code.
**ABOUT YOU**
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide technical guidance and support to a team of motivated and skilled software engineers including coaching engineers to develop best practices in software development
- Handle work priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Coordinate and define activities of other engineers in the team
- Interact with other teams in different areas such as: architects, technical leads from other functional teams, support teams, product team representatives, and Integration/Release teams.
- Work with the QA/Test Team to ensure correct verification and validation of the deliverables
- Contribute to investigate and resolve issues reported during product verification and customer integration.
**Required**:
- 5-8+ years working in software development
- BSEE/BSCS or equivalent experience
- Strong experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes including security aspects
- Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
- Strong experience with Go or any other of these languages: NodeJS, Java, Python
- Strong experience with SQL, Database design and DB migrations
- Strong experience with Git workflows
- Strong experience with IaC like Terraform and Helm Charts
- Experience with Linux shell scripting
- Effective and flexible communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
**Preferred**:
- Experience with Angular (desired) or other web development frameworks
- Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger
- Experience with Postgresql, Redis and NoSQL
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Tekton
- Experience with Jira as a user
- Contribution to the open-source community would be an asset.
