Technicians perform functions associated with all finish goods production including operations, equipments, process and training. Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct on-line equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization. Responsible for running lots in a qualitative way. Also, responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustaining. In addition, the Technician is responsible for improvement processes, troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability. The Technician may be responsible for the buddy, trainer, and certifier levels and is in charge of updating training manuals. May participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team as required. Work is somewhat complex and is performed within the spectrum ranging from narrowly defined parameters and limited judgment up to highly complex and nonstandard assignments in nature and broadly defined parameters. High degree of judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new work.

Technicians can work in Day OR Night Shifts; from Sunday to Wednesday OR Wednesday to Saturday. All shifts are currently available.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Minimum Qualifications:

- High School Diploma AND Technical Degree or Diploma in Electronics, Electromechanical OR Mechatronic
- Able to read and understand documentation in English
- 6+ months of experience as technician and using Microsoft Office
- Able to work during weekends and nights

Preferred Qualifications

- Problem Solving Methodologies
- Data analysis (JMP, SQL, pathfinder, others)
- Windows Software Packages Proficiency
- LEAN Six Sigma
- 5+ years of experience as a technician.
- High Volume Manufacturing/Lab Environment Experience (Test - CLASS, PPV- and Finish Modules)

Soft Skills / Behavioral Traits

- Demonstrated discipline, attentiveness to detail and the ability to work under limited supervision.
- Capable of handling multiple assignments in a timely manner while meeting assigned deadlines.
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated team work and influencing skills. Train other technician and lead by example attitude
