About the role:
Engages in complex projects related to design/develop processes/equipment for Inspection/Testing medical devices. Compiles and analyze requirements in order to develop high quality test inspection processes for new or commercialized products in conformance with Boston Scientific Quality Systems.
Troubleshoots problems related to testing processes, executes test methods, analyzes and draws data:driven conclusions from experimental results. Provide recommendations and/or implements solutions for design, process and product:related issues.
Your responsibilities include:
:
Supports Product Development Team Projects in processes related to Test Inspections throughout the production line. Also support manufacturing complex processes automation.
:
Supports released Electrophysiology products projects that require to establish better and/or automated inspection/testing processes.
:
Work on cross functional teams, performing activities such as product design and testing, specifications development, process capability studies, protocol and report generation, managing design control documentation, and other assigned activities.
:
Designs experiments and/or test methods as appropriate.
:
Mentor and supervise engineers/technicians. Trains and coordinates activities of technicians and assemblers to build or test products.
:
As subject matter expert, develops and evaluates plans and criteria for a variety of product/process projects, either new or existing in the plant. Manages time and deliverables in an organized fashion.
:
Interfaces with Project Managers, Process Development Engineering, Vendors and other outside specialists to solve problems. Either in Costa Rica or other plants in the BSC Network.

Assesses the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering evaluation tests, products, or equipment when necessary data are insufficient or confirmation by testing is not advisable
:
Maintains compliance to training requirements.
:
Discloses patentable new product/testing ideas.

What we are looking for:

BS or MS in Electro Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electronics Engineering
:
Experience in disposable medical devices a must.
:
Computer/Software Engineering knowledge and experience is a must
:
Mechanical Design and CAD drafting skills are a plus
:
Bilingual : Spanish / English, Level B2
:Softwares: Labview, Solidworks, Altium, Basic Office Tools, Project, Visio, Python, SQL, minitab (nice to have).
