JOB DESCRIPTION: MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE Accomplishes Training department objectives by supervising staff; organizing and monitoring work process.
Works in conjunction with manufacturing operations in determine training needs, apply appropriate training process to deliver qualified operators that support manufacturing goals..
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overseeing the Training activities and personnel of one or more suites in order to deliver qualified employees to operations.
- Collaborates with manufacturing supervisors around the Predictable Training Process in order to predict training needs (ie: new hires, transfers, new process), planing of training/qualification events and administration of learning curves.
- Develops action plans to achieve the assigned area goals. Establish process metrics, analyze trends and react to them in a timely manner to maintain area under control.
- Coach, motivates and enhance the morale and self-esteem of ops Training personnel. Manage performance in the area and support personnel development.
- Maintains a high level of product quality by ensure training is performed in full compliance with the Quality System, EHS System and all procedural requirements.
- Coordination of labor, materials, equipment, and tooling to perform training at the dedicated training areas maximizing capacity and results.
- Continually search for improvement in the training methods, process and materials.
- Support preparation and development of manufacturing operations line trainers to implement training process.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University Degree in Science, Business administration, Engineering (Industrial Engineer Preferred)
- 3-6 years of work experience as supervisor (manufacturing operations supervisor experience preferred).
- Advanced level of English (written, verbal and reading)
