Intel Corporate Treasury has the vision to be the world's best Treasury organization delivering outstanding shareholder value. The Cash Management Analyst will be part of the Global Treasury Operations team based in Costa Rica.
The candidate will be responsible for calculating the cash flow for the Americas entities. This position makes sure we estimate the cash balances correctly so we could effectively plan to cover for funding gaps and or to allocate excess cash resulting from our business for its best profitability. The person will develop a clear understanding of the cash pooling structures Intel has and uses those routes to move cash around the globe effectively. His goal is to set a clear picture of our cash flow by evaluating and fulfilling the funding needs to support the operations in the region.
Working closely with the investment managers globally to allocate cash surplus and or to address funding gaps
Analyze the current needs and forecast the future allocations of cash to create our strategic cash positioning.
The person will analyze the inflows and outflows from the accounts to support decision making and to help the accounting team in clearing unfinished transactions.
The person participates in the global liquidity planning for the year and executes it in the short run.
This role partners with the India Operations team, working as one Intel across the globe, looking for efficiencies, automation, and building a common strategy.
This person is directly exposed to Intel's portfolio of assets and has a unique opportunity to learn about investments, financial markets, and financial instruments such as interest rate swaps, foreign exchange, and derivatives.
The role has special assignments to support Intel Capital - our M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions) and strategic investment group.
The job involves close collaboration and partnership with multiple stakeholders, including Corp Planning, Legal, Tax, and Accounting, to ensure strategic alignment and excursion management. It also involves partnering and maintaining effective relationships with Intel's various banking providers. Ad-hoc projects will also be part of the job responsibilities
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
2+ years of Finance practical experience.
2+ cash management.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Advanced English level
CA/CFA or MBA in Finance
Experience with Treasury tools (Quantum, Bloomberg) and Power BI
Soft skills required:
- Excellent to work independently and under pressure
- Proactively analyze financial information and develop solutions to complex problems.
- Systems aptitude and experience in working with systems and large databases.
