Validation Engineer

**Job Description: -**
- Strong Computer architecture knowledge
- The different parts of a computer, how they communicate, communication protocols,
- Should have good knowledge on intel platform(Intel Client/Various Intel product family/Intel x86 Architecture basics.)
- Strong work experience in platform validation, Test case execution, Bug filing, tracking.
- Testing experience in any of domains like Power management, Storage, Sensor, Thunderbolt, Type-C, Security, Graphics, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with Windows OS
- Basics of PC Power Management flows.
Platform/Windows OS low power states.
- Boot/Restart/S/C/P/D State flows understanding
- Windows/OS knowledge:

- Windows Internals knowledge - familiarity is an advantage
- Ability to triage Windows issues & next steps/logs to be taken out.
- Failure Triage needs to be supported with collect failure logs

Tools - How to use: Logic Analyzer, Intel Tools.
WinDBG
- Scripting/Python knowledge - familiarity is an advantage.
- Passion to learn and aptitude to solve problems.
- Good communication skills.
**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 18 months

Pay: ¢3,000.00 - ¢4,000.00 per month

- Heredia, Provincia de Heredia: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
