YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with project managers and engineers throughout the capital investment process to drive timely project closures and ensure a properly stated Asset Under Construction balance for capital projects of 5 million EUR or less. Collaborate with project managers to ensure complete and accurate asset master data is received to capitalize assets for capital projects of 5 million EUR or less. Provide technical guidance on capital vs. expense and other Bayer accounting policies. Manage asset master data and asset lifecycle changes, such as retirements, transfers, etc. for all tangible assets. Complete reconciliations and roll-forward to support the month-end close process and ensure accurate financial reporting of Bayer's tangible and intangible fixed assets, including leases. Collaborate with the CoE and GPO to identify and resolve issues (for example – SAP posting, system and enablers) timely. Create and review evidence to comply with internal controls. Plan, coordinate and execute the annual fixed asset physical inventory. Manage Fixed Assets Leases (IFRS16). WHO YOU ARE University studies in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar. At least 1 year of professional experience in accounting or similar. SAP knowledge (desirable). Strong interpersonal and communications skills. Being resolutive, independent and a decision-making person. Ability to work under pressure and capacity to prioritize properly the workload. Intermediate English B2/B2+ (R&W). Portuguese (desirable). High level of Microsoft office programs. Excel mandatory. Being able to teach others and invest in the expertise and capabilities of the people. Analytical, proactive, with initiative and persistence for follow-up. Demonstrated teamwork spirit. Ability to work in a multicultural environment. Meaningful and well-built stakeholder relationship.
