The positions will be required to teach a variety of required and elective courses in Computer Science and in Data Science.The Department of Computer Scienceoffers BS and MS in Computer Science and BS in Data Science.We also offer BS in Computer Science and Linguistics (jointly with the Dept. of Linguistics and Language Development, MS in Data Science (jointly with the Dept. of Math/Stat), MS in Bioinformatics, and support BS in Software Engineering (curriculum jointly administrated with the Dept. of Computer Engineering). The faculty members are excellent teacher scholars with rich publication records in the areas of machine learning, data science, information security, mobile networking, social networks, bioinformatics, etc. The Department, including both faculty and students, enjoys rich interaction and collaboration with Silicon Valley.
