GFS is at the heart of the Finance function - accountable to the AstraZeneca (AZ) Group for the design and delivery of high quality, simple to operate transactional finance processes that enable our customers to focus on AZ's strategic priorities.The creation of the Global Financial Services (GFS) centers in Warsaw (Poland), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and San José (Costa Rica) will transform the AZ Middle Office and Back Office to a central function, supporting the business regions through simplification, standardization across the globe, and a structure that is scalable to support the bold ambition of becoming a $50bn company by 2025.We have exciting opportunities to join our GFS Center in San José, which will establish best practices and be responsible for providing support to embedded finance (CFOs and country business partners and or BPs in Manufacturing).**Role Profile**This position is responsible for managing Alexion's Global pricing master-data processes within the Global Finance Business Services organization. You will ensure all pricing requests are completed in a timely manner ensuring all orders will be delivered with the correct price, as well ensure old pricing won't be used to avoid rebills and ensure pricing is set up correctly for either a country or a location. As well ensure all controls and approvals are saved within the correct systems and work closely with global stakeholders to follow up on pending items.**Key Responsibilities**General Responsibilities- Accountable for the governance and integrity of the company's Global Pricing Master Data in SAP including transfer pricing.- Documentation of process design, desktop procedures, governance, templates, policies and training materials.- Executes and/or reviews changes to SAP pricing master-data with strict adherence to process and governance standards.- Ensures pricing master-data management design is consistent with the SAP architectural strategy and ensures that solutions add business value.- Identifies new data requirements and provides expertise to business and IT functions.- Ensure proper IT control and change management across the global regions within SAP and other related business systems including ServiceNow.- Actively performs pricing master-data reconciliations, data analysis and periodic maintenance of information in the SAP pricing master.- Drive proactive cross functional stakeholder collaboration/outcomes to ensure SAP pricing master-data configuration changes are performed timely to meet business requirements.- Work closely with various business functional teams to resolve master data issues as needed while ensuring compliance and consistency of pricing master data across business systems.- Create and maintain standard operating procedures for Pricing Master Data as needed.- Monitor the process-specific service performance management; review metrics and manage performance against agreed targets holding the external service provider accountable for delivery to the agreed metrics.- Follow up with different stakeholders involved in the approval to ensure a timely completeness.- Support internal and external audit requests by providing the documentation or data requested to ensure processes are performed correctly.- Support teammates in escalations or issues related to Pricing Master Data.- Ensure KPIs and SLAs are achieved per business requirements.- Support internal and external audit requests by providing the documentation or data requested to ensure processes are performed correctly.- Educate Finance Controllers if required to ensure correct Pricing requests are submitted.- Review if pricing and discounts are set up correctly in the different markets.- Follow up on expired/old prices and ensure these are handled properly.- Review monthly and quarterly reports including transfer price, price changes and others related.- Approve or reject requests that are not compliant with the process.- Connect with Manager to raise concerns about processes or possible roadblocks.- Other tasks related to Pricing Master Data.Continuous Improvement Initiatives- Ensures data management design is consistent with the SAP architectural strategy and ensures that solutions add business value.- Lead the report
