Cloud Systems Engineer - CDE -2200025A**Applicants are required to read, write, and speak the following languages**: English**Preferred Qualifications****Team Description**The Cloud Deployment Engineering group, in partnership with other teams, is responsible for the delivery of the underlying services in our data centers whether physical or cloud. This includes the framework and services for end-to-end system lifecycle management, maintaining hardware and software configuration, patching and updating operating system components, and services that comprise our overall configuration management framework. The team is highly technical and thrives on empowering ourselves and peers to deliver their services better, faster, and more effectively.**Required Skills**:- 2+ years experience with Linux administration- 2+ years experience working with a 24x7 highly available data center environment- Knowledge of networking concepts: TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, etc.- Familiarity with Cloud Service Architectures: OCI, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.- Strong troubleshooting/problem-solving skills**Preferred Skills**- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Linux, RHEL, and/or other RPM-based Linux distributions- Experience with SaltStack configuration management- Experience with Terraform- Experience with collaboration tools including Confluence, JIRA, git- BS in Computer Science or related field.**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**Perform performance trend analysis and manage the server/network capacity. React to potential problems using automation, scheduling, and monitoring tools - escalating to management where appropriate. Participate in configuration and implement technical solutions to enhance and/or troubleshoot the system. Responsible for support documentation as well.Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. 2-4 years of related experience in a medium to large network distributed and computing environment.
