Critical Environments Engineer, Data Center

Duties and Responsibilities Subject matter expert for install, troubleshoot, repair, and lifecycle management of all environment monitoring devices, PDUs, and other equipment within our datacenter environment. Maintain accurate information in DCIM tool. Coordinate, schedule, and document change control requirements related to activities. Uphold all DCO standards, processes, and procedures while executing or requesting vendor execution of MAC work. Work with remote hands and partner teams globally to affect the timely and correct repairs and/or installs of server hardware, network devices, and cross-connects to exchanges and counter-parties. Develop and maintain cable schedules and material stock requirements. Develop rack level elevations and patching methodologies.Sysco Data Center Operations is looking for a detail oriented Critical Environment Engineer to be responsible for rack, power, patch of all equipment in our DC environment. This is a global and fast-paced technology environment with regular MAC (move, add, change) work taking place. This person will perform hands-opn as well as request and coordinate via vendor management remote hands/eyes to complete all MAC work.
