This position is a highly visible, integral part of the Finance team offering opportunities for growth- Reports to: Senior Manager Operations Finance- Reporting Level: No direct reports.- Geographic Scope: USA**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**- Develop and sustain strong business partnering relationships across internal Operations Finance, Accounting, and EHS functions as well as with key external stakeholder- Responsible for timely and accurate tracking of facilities projects and related spend- Drive process to execute CapEx project set-up forms, monitor and review project progress on an ongoing basis and reflect financial impacts accurately in actuals and financial forecasting- Lead monthly OpEx and CapEx SOPs by coordinating with key internal and external stakeholders to develop reasonably accurate forecasts and deliver management summaries and reports highlighting insights- Complete journal entries and accruals as needed to reflect actual spend activity- Compare actuals and forecasts on a monthly basis to identify variances and investigate drivers providing insights and trends to key stakeholders- Lead and coordinate with key stakeholders the review and approval of assets created through projects and direct purchases as well as ensure appropriate disposal of assets- Perform quarterly audits of external supplier management fees and related operating expenses for compliance with master contract- Maintain project tracking tools and satisfaction surveys to deliver robust KPI reporting- Complete fixed asset physical inventories across facilities- Support management and execution of real estate transactions including donations, sales and acquisitions- Assist/lead special projects as needed**CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?**Do you have at 5+ years of experience in Accounting, Financial Analysis, or related area?Are you fluent in English?**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**- 5+ years of experience in Accounting, Financial Analysis, or related area.- Financial forecasting and accounting experience required.- Strong knowledge of finance / analytics.- Demonstrate commercial acumen.- Ability to perform under pressure and navigate through ambiguity.- Capacity for innovation.- High proficiency in PC skills and detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint.- Ability to think strategically, with strong influencing and leadership skills.- Strong problem-solving skills.- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.- Ability to make quick decisions, use good judgment, and ask relevant questions.- High sense of urgency, work ethic, and must be flexible.- Ability to work under mínimal supervision; must be a self-starter.- Must demonstrate financial responsibility and reliability.- Must be detail oriented.- Ability to challenge the status quo as necessary.- Fluent in English.- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related area.**BENEFICIAL**- CPA, MBA, or Master of Accounting.**WE ARE BAT**At BAT, we are committed to our Purpose of creating A Better Tomorrow.
