**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:The Global External Content Management (GECM) team helps BCG's internal stakeholders through the enablement and procurement of research sources and tools. This includes managing research sources suppliers, providing operational support, risk reduction and act as the central coordination of stakeholders.As the Global Research Sources Manager, you will work with the GECM team and serve as BCG's relationship manager with third party data and research providers. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Lead the creation of internal business data strategies, planning, and drive business behaviors as it relates to suppliers and data usage.Negotiate complex, high-value enterprise contracts and service levels. Ensure contracts and access rights for BCG business needs.Manage, including renewals, a portfolio of suppliers across different geographies and to ensure no disruptions to business.Partner with business functions and proactively engaging on business and data needs, advising on right sources for the business/BCG.Optimise sources usage, identify savings opportunities and build relationships with stakeholders and teams (both internal and external).**YOU'RE GOOD AT**:- Working across a matrixed organization to align with key stakeholders.- As a confident communicator, articulate and strong at influencing multiple stakeholders to adopt a new point.- Vendor /contract management and other vendor oversight activities. Negotiating complex and high-value agreement with suppliers at senior-level settings.- Developing and managing relationships with both internal and external business stakeholders. Leveraging the usage of management information insights to build negotiation strategies.- Independently driving processes while collaborating with global multi-functional teams.**YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)**:- Undergraduate degree with high academic achievement, Master's degree preferred,- 6-8+ years of relevant business experience in the professional services industry preferred.- In-depth knowledge of the key players in the information management industry and their strategies, pricing models, and technologies.- Advanced understanding of content rights management and copyright law concepts, and how to minimize liability and cost.- Knowledge of GenAi implications on usage and content creation.- Strong experience in negotiating with suppliers at senior level.- Exceptionally strong analytic and communication skills.- Excellent presence and business acumen, planning, organizational, interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.**YOU'LL WORK WITH**:Our business management and operations team members work to ensure that BCG is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively. We are made up of executive and administrative (or case team) assistants, visual service artists, receptionists, facilities staff, and the team leaders and office coordinators who manage these operations and business management jobs.**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**:We belong to the Case Team Services Group, which falls under the broader Enterprise Services organization. Our team, the Global External Content Management (GECM), encompasses Third Party data/subscription Sourcing/Contract Management, Sourcing Operations, and Portal Integration. Your role will primarily concentrate on the Sourcing/Contract Management area. You will work closely with colleagues in sourcing, the Research Center Product team, Legal, Infosec, as well as other business stakeholders and suppliers globally.
