**Role and Responsibilities**:Design, implement, and administrate infrastructure and solutions that support the IBM VMware Cloud environment. Support the compliance and security integrity of the environment through your work and provide new and enhance existing capabilities for our VMware infrastructure services. Partner with other teams, functional managers, and program managers to deliver tools and environments to protect our client's data and no matter where it resides, respond to the changing market dynamics.**Requisitos**:Minimum Qualifications**Preferred Education**: Bachelor's Degree**Eligibility Requirements**: 5+ years of experience in data center infrastructure or relevant work experience. 5+ years of experience in large-scale infrastructure design, engineering, and support. 5+ years of experience in IT Change, Incident, Problem, Asset management 5+ years of infrastructure architect with proven record for delivering high-quality, large-scale solutions Automation. 3+ years of practical experience with VMware vSphere, vRealize Operations, and vRealize of experience in IT Change, Incident, Problem, Asset management. 3+ years of practical experience in integrating VMware environment with other subsystems. 3+ years of working knowledge with Software Defined Network principles and technologies: VMware NSX, Juniper vSRX, or equivalent. 3+ year of working knowledge with storage and data protection technologies: Veeam, Zerto, or equivalent. At least four (4) years of direct experience in day-to-day administration of and maintaining an enterprise-level data backup & recovery solution in a production environment.**Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise**: Working knowledge with one or more operating systems: Windows Servers, RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS Linux. Working knowledge with one or more programming tools: Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ruby, etc.. Working knowledge with one or enterprise management tools: Chef, Ansible, Git. Working knowledge with MS SQL, Active Directory, LDAP. Working knowledge with ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluent, and GitHub Working knowledge with one or more Logging & Monitoring technologies: Zabbix, Splunk, Kafka, ELK Stack, RabbitMQ, etc.. Working knowledge with ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluent, and GitHub ITIL Foundation V4 certification is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly responsible, motivated, able to work with little direction. Experience with design and development of complex systems. Ability to troubleshoot complex problems and customer issues. Administer and maintain an enterprise-level data backup & recovery solution in a production environment. Administer and maintain VMware backup storage (Veeam based infrastructure). Assist in the design and implementation of disaster recovery plans, including robust DR testing. Implement and guarantee process and systems are in place to deliver highly available storage platforms. Ensure backup systems/files are reliable. Manage operating systems that they will be backing up or at least have a thorough understanding of how they operate. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure efficient and effective data backup and recovery processes. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data backup and recovery. Experience with Veeam, Data Domain storage administration, and vSANs. Strong knowledge of disaster recovery plans and robust DR testing. Understanding of Windows operating systems (file servers, databases (SQL & Oracle), Active Directory) and Linux. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and quality under pressure.
