Legal Intern

**About the job**The Legal Intern is responsible to provide support to the Latin American Legal Counsels on their daily duties, mainly but not limited to ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.**Main responsibilities**- Supporting with legal formalization process.- Supporting of the corporate legal compliance.- Supporting operative activities of LAC Legal Counsels.- Supporting and collecting relevant data at the different areas of Legal.- Manages and updates functional databases used by Legal.- Supports with administration duties and data input.- Collect, assess, document and control (changes in) processes for the assigned area and, if necessary, correct detected errors and / or gaps in processes.- Prepare / ensure preparation, explain and follow up on management reports, at request or at own initiative, in line with company reporting standards.- Keep track of standard templates of legal documents, forms, standard procedures and policies for the LAC region.- To keep track and control of the POA´S, local registrations, loan agreement dates validation, others.- To control and update required information systems.**Qualifications**- Advanced student in Law- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in business in English- Ability to work independently and with a great sense of responsibility- Good inter-personal skills- Enterpreneurial mindset and enthusiastic personality**Competencies**Problem analysis and assessment, Innovative, Initiative, Cooperation, Written communication, Planning and organizing, Progress control, Result orientation.**Benefits**- You will be working in an inclusive, international and diverse environment.- You will benefit from a flexible work environment with a good work-life balance with a hybrid model, working part-timr in the office and the rest at home.- You will receive an internship allowance.**How to apply**- Oikocredit is an equal opportunity employer.
