The Manager will lead a group of team managers and their associates to ensure prompt support for global employees in Off-Cycle Compensation (OCC) specific processes. The broad responsibilities focus on the management of the day-to-day operations, stakeholder management of the business partners, and project management oriented towards process improvement. The role will contribute to the program vision, design and delivery - setting the vision, direction, and culture by managing individual and team's performance expectations and goals. The individual will be responsible for the launch of new processes that will be ingested. A very strong, strategic, and analytical mind focused on creating the right experience is required, just as the ability to manage under pressure and prioritize efficiently. This position is based out of SJO10 and will report into the Service Manager, Hub Leader, SJO.Key job responsibilitiesRoles and ResponsibilitiesSubject Matter Expertise- Provide guidance to stakeholders, customers, and team on a variety of compensation queries and issues- Strong understanding of Employee Services and Compensation processes workload and priorities- Knows and works with outside sources to develop interpretations and solutions for complex compensation issues.- Subject Matter Expert for customers and team. Strong understanding of HR Services workload and priorities.- Knows and works with outside sources to develop interpretations and solutions for complex issues.- Advocates for PXT organization.People Management- Leads and develops a team of Process Specialists and Team Managers. Responsible for the overall direction, performance management, coordination and evaluation of the team. Ensures high service delivery and execution.- Achieves performance goals and objectives in line with the network wide vision and goals.- Develops and communicates policies to associates, and becomes the primary information source for staff; following-up to ensure compliance and consistency; taking corrective action as necessary, and documenting the issue and actions taken.- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Amazon's policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities include interviewing, training and motivating employees; planning, assigning and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees; and effective conflict resolution.- Master's Degree in Psychology, Business Administration, or Human Resources.- Understanding and hands on experience working with PeoplePortal, iCIMS, Hire, Remedy/SIM.- Previous experience in PXT.- Lean/Six Sigma Certifications
