TE Connectivity's Quality and Reliability Engineering Teams analyze the ability of product and production systems to comply with customer and contractual requirements through established reliability factors. They design, recommend revisions and install quality control systems, develop and document analytical methods for establishing reliability of products and their components and conduct analysis on relative reliability with regards to cost, structure, weight, maintainability, facility of production, and availability of materials and equipment. Out teams develop, implement and monitor company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health and safety regulations and recommend corrective actions if necessary. They are responsible for policies and practices to comply with applicable government regulations and industry requirements related to product environmental compliance, the implementation and management of technical and testing standards and specifications, quality control and reliability programs governing materials, product and processes, resulting in the optimization of material and labor, as well as failure analysis, root cause, corrective action and customer communication.**About the position**:**Responsibilities**:- Provide support in the guide to the Engineers in matters of validations and the processes that compose it, call compliance with the procedures and validation formats, as well as the appropriate statistical techniques.- Validate new equipment, products or processes. Prepare, execute and analyze data for IQ, OQ, PQ, SQ, TVM and FMEAs protocols and reports.- Train operators and engineers in validation activities.- Investigate complaints from customers, suppliers and internal non-conformities. Conduct root cause investigations, determine corrective action, and verify effectiveness.- Develop/analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine manufacturing quality standards.- Approve customer drawings for use in manufacturing.- Create and modify current procedures and instructions.- Prepare/present technical information and quality metrics to team members, customers and management.- Serve as a liaison professional with external clients.- Maintain working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance standards.- Develop internal audits to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards/requirements and organizations and ISO.- All other functions assigned to it.**Education and Experience**:- Title that accredits you for the performance of the position in areas of Engineering or an equivalent discipline.- CQE/CSSBB cerification desirable.- 3-5 years of experience in similar positions.**Qualifications**:- Fundamental understanding of geometry, fractions, percentages, relationships and measures.- Complete understanding of administrative and manufacturing processes.- Interpersonal skills and adaptation working with employees from diverse cultures.- Ability to read/interpret procedural materials such as job travelers, plans, sketches and diagrams.- Excellent technical procedure writing skills.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills between departments.- Previous experience working with a driven standard (ISO, FDA, etc.)- Computer knowledge with inventory and manufacturing software, order processing systems, spreadsheets and word processors.- Skills organization of effective time, applied to fast movements and high pressure environments.- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision, as well as in work teams.**Competencies**:- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation
