**Position Title: Senior Accounting Analyst****Location: San Jose, Costa Rica****What you'll do at Wind River**:The role will be both demanding and rewarding where you can make a difference working in a cornerstone team of our organization, with significant learning opportunities and exposure to a diverse group of leaders.**Who You Will Work With**:- This position will be part of the Corporate Accounting team and will report to the Accounting Manager based in Costa Rica.- You will work closely with other members of the USA and Costa Rica based Corporate Accounting team, our Regional Offices, US Corporate Finance and Accounting Groups, Divisional Accounting, and external financial providers.**Responsibilities**- Support monthly, quarterly and annual accounting cycle, by preparing journal entries, reconciliations and analyses.- Perform monthly account analyses and reconciliations of various balance sheet and expense accounts.- Support monthly fixed asset process, ensuring assets are properly categorized in accordance with USGAAP and company policy.- Support monthly lease accounting processes, ensuring leases are properly accounted for in accordance with USGAAP and company policy.- Contribute to the monthly consolidation and reporting process.- Contribute to Financial Statement preparation process.- Contribute to the success of all the team's deliverables, as required- Performs other related duties as required.**Minimum Qualifications**:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent with a solid knowledge of GAAP, general ledger structure, and financial statements.- 3+ years of experience.- Advanced English level.- Office Suite knowledge including Advanced Excel and strong data management skills.- Significant attention to detail and strong organizational skills.- Ability to meet stringent deadlines in a fast-paced environment; demonstrates a sense of urgency and should be results-driven.- Ability to work effectively with a diverse accounting team in a dynamic environment- Good communication skills (both oral and written) to connect and collaborate effectively with a diverse set of peers and stakeholders; constructive and solution-oriented mindset.- Understanding of fixed asset accounting, lease accounting and consolidations is preferred.- Oracle R12 experience preferred.**Why Choose Wind River?**Wind River believes that some things are so important they simply cannot fail.
