This position requires proven skills in software development tools and excellent English oral and written communication skills. The ability to consider multiple cloud-platform systems while designing and implementing an automated test is essential. You will likely need to work with a variety of tools, operating systems, and products to ensure delivery of high-quality automated test code.**ABOUT YOU****Responsibilities**:- Design, develop, test, deliver, maintain, and improve automated test code.- Back-End Automated Test development to enable the testing of APIs, distinct micro-services, and database data handling.- Develop Automated Test code that clearly identifies failure and points less technical users towards root cause failure.- Design, develop, test, deliver, maintain, and improve automated test tools and frameworks that support automated test creation and execution.**Core Competencies & Demonstrated Success**:- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.- Strong Experience as a software developer in test or in a technical quality assurance position.- Strong Experience developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end automated tests.- Proven ability to work autonomously and manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.- Experience supporting junior Automated Test Developers to develop best practices in automated test development.- Experience with GIT, Jira, code review tools.- Experience with Jenkins, DevOps, Containers and Agile practices.- Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger.- Experience with microservices using Typescript, NodeJs, and Data Streams is a plus.- Experience with Postgres, Mongo and Kafka is a plus.- A good understanding of software development best practices including SOLID design principles is a plus.- BSEE/BSCS or equivalent experience.- #LI-JK1
