Moody's is seeking an experienced compliance professional to support the MIS rating business in Latin America and to provide regional support for the Business Unit Compliance Officers (BUCOs) assigned to MIS' ratings groups.This function will provide day to day and project support across a number of compliance activities and functions, including timely and actionable advice and guidance on matters relating to conflicts of interest, the protection of confidential and/or material non-public information, and questions relating to Moody's Policy for Securities Trading, and other MIS policies such as outside business interests.Additional responsibilities for this position include:- Provide local support as needed on cross-border and regional credit rating actions assigned by MIS- Assist BUCOs and Local Compliance Officers in providing advice and guidance on MIS personnel enquiries related to conflicts of interest, securities trading responsibilities, outside business interests, record retention obligations, and other matters as necessary- Assist in research of pertinent regulatory requirements, MIS Code, Policies and Procedure requirements, and identification of pertinent regulatory examination findings and recommendations- Provide local training as required or upon request- Assist as necessary in the conduct of investigations and in support of Compliance Surveillance processes- Support senior compliance officers on various projects and initiatives- Assist in other compliance tasks as required to ensure team objectives are achieved- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.- Strong written and oral communication skills.- Two to four years of compliance experience in financial services- Professional, pro-active, flexible, diligent and dependable.- Excellent interpersonal skills and team oriented.- Must be highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.- Must be able to work on own initiatives, with limited supervision.- Multilanguage with ability to translate documents is a plus.- Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skillsCompliance-MIS SegmentMoody's is an equal opportunity employer.
