A Senior QA reports to a QA Lead. Works closely with QA lead, QA Subject Matter Experts, other QA members, project managers, designers and developers to ensure QA standards and client satisfaction are delivered thought-out the account. A Senior QA is someone that brings analytical thinking and support to the team and QA lead on many tasks.You will: Responsible to perform any of the QA tasks with barely any guidancePlan, conducts and technically directs projects or major phases of significant projectsResponsible of analyze and understand requirements, and design specifications to ensure a quality processResponsible to attend, lead and/or organize meetings on behalf of teamResponsible to promote and evaluate QA values and principles not only for the QA team but for everyone in the company and our clients.Support QA lead to work and motivate other team members in a team-oriented and collaborative environment with both technical and non-technical team membersResponsible to communicate test results, issues, and risks to project team members, project managers, and QA management through the different channelsResponsible to promote effective communication, a sense of participation and involvement amongst QA members.Responsible of test data identificationCreating and maintaining comprehensive test plansWriting and maintaining test cases/scripts following high quality standardsCreate traceability matrix documents based upon project requirementsCreate checklist documentation based upon project requirementsPerform functional and non-funtional testingEffectively communicating statusesDevelop test design documents to cover requirementsPlan and schedule test activities to ensure qualityApply industry standard testing methodology, strategies and industry best practicesCreate defect tickets and track issues to resolution and risk analysis of said issuesReport creation and related metrics at different levels You have: Minimun 5 years of experience in Software Quality AssuranceEnglish Proficiency (B2+ reading, writing, and conversation)Bachelors degree in software engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.Knowledge of Agile Methodologies for software developmentExperience working with local and offshore teamsExperience in task management and defect tracking tools like Jira and/or similarExtensive knowledge of Windows or MacOS software is expected.ISTQB Certification is a plusOther QA related certifications are a plusMastery of office productivity tools such as Excel, Word, MS Project, Visio, and PowerPoint.Knowledge of Photoshop and Adobe illustrador are a plus.Desirable knowledge of collaboration and issue tracking tools such as Box, Jira, Confluence.
