Description ResponsibilitiesHands on experience in building and maintaining fault-tolerant, scalable Service/APIs and backend solutionsAbility to construct enterprise-grade APIs using state-of-the-art techniques and best practices (REST, JSON, XML, etc.) Analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.Can support critical daily engineering operations related to payments and funding in collaboration with accounting team.Proficient in cross-platform integration Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting, studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, external providers, and information servers.Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.Thrive on teams with a congenial and collaborative approach to working through technical problems Show flexibility to respond to the changing needs of the businessEnjoys contributing to the development of his or her peers by providing mentorship and supportRequirementsBS degree in Computer Science or related field3+ years of work experience in a software engineering role, preferred experience in payments processing and transaction management.Expertise with Core Java, GIT, Cache frameworks and Queuing frameworksExperience in Batch job processingStrong Data Skillset (SQL, Postgres, JSON, No-SQL DBs)Experience in cloud related technologies such as AWS, Docker, OpenShift, EC2Expertise in the web related technologies (Web applications, micro services and Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocolsHands on experience in developing secure coding.Experience in payments production supportAdept at working in Agile teams, exposure to SAFE preferred. Nice to have:NodeJS knowledge/ experienceCloud knowledge/ experience
