Software Test Automation Engineer

**Job Description**:Job descriptionPrimary Responsibilities:- Design comprehensive test cases to cover user stories, thoroughly validating functionalities, and user requirements.- Perform manual testing on user stories, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to quality assurance across all testing methodologies.- Design and develop robust automation frameworks and test scripts, enhancing our testing capabilities and efficiency.- Identify automation opportunities across various test types and implement suitable automation solutions.- Collaborate closely with the development and product teams throughout the Agile development, from story grooming and refinement to implementation/releases and retrospectives.- Stay abreast of the latest automation testing technologies and methodologies advancements, continuously seeking to improve our processes and tools.Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.- 5+ years of Quality Assurance Engineering experience.- Experience with performance and mobile testing.- 3+ years of experience in test automation.- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Cypress framework.- Proficiency in developing, testing, and debugging automated tests.- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman.- Solid understanding of Agile software development processes and practices.- Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, JIRA Zephyr, etc.- Fluent in both English and Spanish, capable of effectively communicating technical concepts and collaborating with global teams.Preferred Skills- ISTQB Foundation Level.- Proficiency with TypeScript, JavaScript, and Unix shell scripting.3M es un empleador que ofrece las mismas oportunidades. 3M no discriminará a ningún solicitante de empleo por razones de raza, color, edad, religión, sexo, orientación sexual, identidad o expresión de género, origen nacional, discapacidad o estado de veterano.Our approach to flexibility is called Work Your Way, which puts employees first and drives well-being in ways that enable 3M's business and performance goals.
