Funciones
Summary:
Provide process development, system development and support, under minimal supervision, in one or more of the following technical areas: Systems databases, monitoring, testing, deploying, and input to the design of these environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Own assigned tasks, resolve general systems issues. Requires minimal direction, gives some guidance to others, some project work, and good knowledge of operating environments.
Installs, maintains and upgrades internal computer hardware and software systems used for designing and developing company products.
Controls user access and passwords.
Proposes and implements systems enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the systems.
Monitors usage and performance.
Trains personnel on system usage.
Troubleshoots server, software and hardware issues.
Assists with recommending, scheduling and implementing system hardware and/or software upgrades or repairs.
Researches, evaluates and recommends software and hardware products.
Provides new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth.
Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Project management skills
Systems Design and programming skills.
Databases administration skills
Experience SDLC (System development life Cycle) process knowledge and application.
Knowledge of technical writing principles and practices
Ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams
Ability to work independently and apply good problem-solving techniques.
Strong knowledge of hardware, internals, peripherals, and software on platforms supported.
Good understanding of validated or quality systems.
Excellent judgment and customer interaction skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education and/or expertise:
Bachelor’s degree in computer related field or 3+ years of relevant technical experience. Technical certifications preferred.
