Accounting Analyst, Local Accounting-Foaa Cr

Accounting Bachelor Degree or related field with 4+ or more years of experience.- Experience in month end closing of books of accounts / working on various sub-ledgers / accounting knowledge / balance sheet reconciliation & reporting activities- Previous experience in Statutory Accounting activities for LATAM countries, special focus in Colombia, Costa Rica and Panama, but it is not limited as the team is expanding its services.- Knowledge of financial controls and procedures.- Basic taxes and local regulations understanding.- Advanced English level- Advanced Excel skillsThe Accounting Analyst in this position will be responsible of month end close activities for multiple accounts, preparation of monthly/quarterly/annually statutory reconciliations, statutory reports, and balance sheet analysis. This position will be key in supporting Accounting Leadership in all aspects of financial accounting, reporting systems, procedures and policies.San Jose, SJ, CRI- Experience using Oracle Financial Applications- Flexible, proactive, and self-motivated- Strong written and oral communication skills- Preferred Chartered Public Accounting certified locally in Costa Rica and/or Colombia's board- Tax experience/knowledge in LATAM countries- IFRS/USGAAP general knowledge- Experience in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controller-ship with measurable results experience
