Here, you will have many opportunities to learn and grow as we offer development opportunities unique for each employees needs including training, certifications, mentorship, leadership programs, tuition reimbursement, one-on-one coaching and more!Division:CR SSCJob title:Accounts Payable ClerkFunction:FinancePercent of travel:0%**Location**:San Jose, Costa RicaPeople manager:NoReports to:Accounts Payable SupervisorPosition summary:The Service Delivery Clerk is primarily responsible for the detailed and accurate processing of invoices, matching of purchase orders, and working closely with different stakeholders.This is a Shared Services role related to standing up the Finance One optimization program.**Essential duties & responsibilities**: (detailed description)- Process invoices accurately and efficiently throughout the month utilizing different ERPs.- Review all invoices for proper approval and valid GL numbers.- Liaise with relevant parties (buyers, requestors and suppliers, etc.) to resolve critical issues preventing invoices to be processed.- Maintains documentation to support AP transactions that facilitates the efficient review and audit of books and records.- Comply with all internal control procedures to ensure accurate financial records, particularly in relation to Corporate Delegation of Authority policy.- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency within the accounts payable function.- Performs other related work as assigned by management.**Education & special trainings**:- Associates Degree in Accounting, Business or related field- MS Office Suite- Fluent spoken and written English. Any other language is a plus- Oracle and SAP systems knowledge is a big plus**Qualifications & experience**:- 1-2 years of relevant working experience in a finance function in matrixed international company (preferably American or Multinational company) with complex reporting practices and with exposure to various reporting systems**Physical & mental requirements**:- Ability to work well with cross-functional teams, multi-task and meet deadlines consistently.- Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to communicate complicated issues effectively.- Demonstrated ability to perform consistently under varying business pressure as well as ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment.- Computer or technical knowledge- Effective problem-solving skills**About Stryker
