This role is positioned to drive the success of the "New Health Care Company".The Impact You'll Make in this Role- The Unbilled Ship Pending Agent position supports the billing process by working to obtain necessary clinical documentation from multiple sources. Acts as the liaison between customer, 3M KCI, and third-party payer to ensure the order meets regulatory and payer requirements. Obtain and analyze required documentation for shipping of product and billing of claims._As a(n) _Ship Pending Analyst_, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:- _ Analyze and prioritize work._- _ Understand and interpret third party payer benefits and eligibility (onli_ne or telephone)._- _ Conduct in depth review of clinical documentation (medical records, prescriptions, operative reports, history, and physicals) based on billing criteria. This communication is expected by outbound calls performed by the CSR and inbound calls received by the CSR throughout the day on a daily basis._- _ Communicate internally and externally to obtain missing documentation requ_ired for placement cand/or billing; could include home health agencies, patients, hospital/facilities, physicians._- _ Follow and enforce all Company policies and procedures._- _ Develop and manage customer relationships creating loyalty with Clinical Providers._- _ Meet _weekly/monthly/quarterly_ production expectations based on department priorities._- _ Requires reading and investigating medical documents 60% of the time and phone usage 40% of the time._- _ Highly disciplined, self-motivated, proactive, with a good work ethic._Your Skills and Expertise- (Also known as basic and preferred qualifications.
