Business Intelligence Engineer

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related fields- +4 years of relevant work experience- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel- Expert knowledge of POSTGRE SQL with experience writing complex SQL queries- Expert knowledge of Microstrategy, Tableau, Power BI and other similar environments- Advanced knowledge of scripting for automation (e.g., Python, R, VBA, or other automation-focused languages)- Experience with AWS solutions such as Redshift, S3, EC2, and DynamoDB- Experience with advanced statistical methods (e.g., fixed effects, predictive modeling, cluster analysis, time series modeling)- Experience in designing and delivering cross functional custom reporting solutions- Be self-driven, and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or dirty dataTech Skills- Data Warehousing, Modelling and SQL expertise to build and optimize queries and extract data- VBA and Python expertise to handle large data sets and smoothen existing/redundant processes- Visualization expertise to create stand-alone dashboards using visualization tools i.e. QuickSight, Power BI & Tableau- Knowledge and direct experience using business intelligence reporting / visualization tools (Excel, Microstrategy, OBIEE, Business Objects, Cognos, Tableau, Cubes, etc.)- Experience data modeling and transformation of large-scale data sources using SQL, Hadoop, Spark, Hive, EMR, or other Big Data technologies- Knowledge of scripting for automation (e.g. Python, Perl, R etc. )- Master's Degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or Mathematics - Experience with AWS solutions such as Redshift, S3, EC2, and DynamoDB - Experience managing multiple competing priorities and projects - Excellent written, verbal, listening, communicating
