Cash Application Analyst

• Obtains information from the bank for checks received via lockbox and retains this information for future reference especially for audit purposes.• Processes payments onto the customer's accounts in SAP. Some bank accounts are set up as auto cash applications in which you process the exceptions only and other bank accounts' cash is still processed manually.• Works directly with the Treasury dept and the GBS OtC SSC Manager to make sure all applications are complete by the end of month and each General Ledger account is in balance.• Processes credit card payments either through an automated process or manually posts credit card payments charged through the divisions• Directly speaks with customers or customer service reps to receive credit card payment information and sends emailed receipts when necessary• Applies prepayments to orders in SAP and removes the delivery block so the order can process or ship.• Pulls remittances for the internal or external auditors.• Returns checks not processed from the bank ie: stale dated checks.• Works closely with the Credit reps for payment questions or identification of payments.• Adjusts Non-AR checks and balances to the proper GL accounts along with the associated profit or cost center.• Adjusts tax to the proper GL when tax exemptions are received and maintains this back up for audit purposes.Requirements:Bachelor's in Business Administration, finance, accounting or economy.Advanced English Level.+2 years of OTC experience preferable in cash apps.Shared service center experience.SAP ERP, Treasury Management Systems.Availability to work hybrid in La Lima, Cartago.
