Contract Associate Manager**BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Contract Associate Manager Job for an opportunity in San Jose, CA 95113 (and it can be done remotely)!****Position Title**:Contract Associate Manager**Location**: San Jose, CA 95113 (Remote)**Anticipated Start Date**: April 11, 2024**Expected Duration**: 12+ months (with possibility of extension or conversion)**Job Type**: Contract, 40 HRS WEEKLY, Onsite**Pay Range**: $**55/hr - $63.60/hrPlease note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).- Contract Associate Manager is part of our Legal and Commercial Services.- Professionals bring innovative ideas to commercial reality with a focus on maximizing value for all parties through a deep understanding of legal, business, and commercial risks.- We work alongside sales and delivery teams throughout the entire contract lifecycle to provide high quality advice and support for negotiation, drafting and ongoing management of client contracts.- Sales growth: expanding the footprint of our agreements supporting new business.- Revenue protection: delivering on our contractual commitments.- Margin improvement: effectively managing commercial levers, risks, and issues; Compliance with contract obligations and policy.**Job Summary**:- Contract Associate Managers assist with managing clients in a manner that maximizes value for and our clients.- Contract Associate Managers must be capable of managing contracts, including subcontracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and client business requirements.- Contract Associate Managers are generally co-located with business/client units and project teams (often on client premises) and are expected to maintain a high level of visibility on the account as they perform their contract management responsibilities.- Contract Associate Managers may also direct the work activities of junior contract management professionals and other related engagement staff allocated to a business or client unit, acting as a role model for contract management staff and a trusted partner to the business.- Contract Associate Managers are client facing and have a key role in building trusted relationships with client counterparts.**Key Responsibilities**:- Leadership/Engagement: Lead/support contract management teams across projects and accounts; work with account leadership, client commercial and business stakeholders to understand and support client needs and priorities.- Account Strategy, Objectives, And Opportunities.- Work with contract management staff across multiple projects and accounts providing input into performance management activities.- Support the identification, escalation and resolution of commercial and contract risks and issues working with CM and project leadership to ensure the best outcome for all parties.- Engage in pre-award sales activities, engage in discussions with delivery team regarding potential deal shaping and contractual outcomes with sales teams and business leadership, including contract drafting support.- The contract management function is client facing and has a key role in building trusted relationships with client counterparts.**Knowledge and Experience**:- Minimum 5 yrs. relevant experience in contract management.- Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with client executives at all levels of the organization.- Basic understanding of commercial contracting regulations and principles, subcontracting practices; and commercial contracting terms and conditions.**Behaviors and Attributes**:- Open to work with and understand cross-cultures and locations throughout the client's global organization,- Understand the value of diversity and recognize the strengths that different styles, innovative perspectives and experiences bring to clients.- Demonstrate inclusion and respect for all individuals regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, religion, belief, age, disability, culture, social status and/or sexuality.- Leader as well as team player, collaborative and persuasive; able to work well with executives and nonexecutives.- Contracting, Drafting and Negotiation: Lead drafting and review of contractual documents (i.e., Statements of Work, Change Requests, Arrangement Letters, Subcontracts and Non-Disclosure Agreements (not exclusive, etc.) and collaborating with other internal organizations, under direction of a contract management lead where appropriate, Observe and/ or participate in negotiations.**Contract Management Knowledge and Experience**:- Minimum 5 yrs. relevant experience in contract management.- Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with client executives at all levels of the organization,- Basic understanding of commercial contracting regu
