You are highly analytical and excited about applying a quantitative framework to business problems through performing complex analysis, data mining, predictive modeling, business forecasting, applied statistics, and more. You are comfortable with presenting your approach to Product Manager, Engineers, Marketing, Sales, Finance and working with them to execute a data-driven business process. What we'd like to see in you: A vision for ingraining analytics into an organization's decision making process Ability to translate business needs/questions into technical requirements for a data product (e.g., BI dashboard, daily report, ad-hoc SQL analysis, data feed) Ability to effectively manage stakeholder requirements and expectations Ability to design granular and flexible data tables to support myriad analytical use cases Strong perspectives on how to ensure high data quality and governance Uses a variety of data manipulation tools / techniques to achieve an outcome, including SQL, Python and Excel Experience in design-and-build innovative data analytics solutions, from discovery to delivery for internal stakeholders Ability to manage a data ecosystem including ETL, data governance, reporting and insights Experience or proficiency in several of the following is expected: 2+ years of applied analytics in various functions (e.g., sales, finance, marketing, product, engineering); track record of success 2+ years of data modeling/structuring and data manipulation Exposure to web analytics tools and prior experience in developing analytical reports and dashboards Strong knowledge of Data Visualization tool like Power BI or Tableau is must Strong working knowledge of SQL and/or Python Foundational knowledge of data science models and techniques Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure to use/deploy analytics solutions Strong written communication and presentation Moody's is an equal opportunity employer.
