The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst is an individual contributor position responsible for providing Management with an analysis and insight of Citi's forward-looking financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to utilize specialty knowledge to create reports/analyses that gauge Citi's alignment with forecasted performance.**Responsibilities**:- Participate in forward-looking activities including annual budgeting and monthly outlook estimate process- Develop and provide financial analytics support working with local FP&A teams and Operation & Technology partners in Brazil, including trend and variance analysis, research and interpretation of factual information, and detection and follow-up to resolution of inconsistencies in results.- Development of materials/decks for review with FP&A local and regional team, breaking down information in a systematic and communicable manner- Interact with Operation & Technology partners in Brazil and Regional to gather business inputs as part of the assumptions and drivers to prepare accurate Expenses forecasts.- Have regular interaction with ICG Brazil Front Expenses team supporting with cost allocation analysis for business- Manage the implementation of procedures and report development.- Support the digitalization initiatives in the team, leveraging on digital tools in order to recommend and implement optimizations to processes and reports currently used in the team.- Adhere to key controls for financial planning, forward looking and close monitoring processes within the scope handled, providing evidence and assurance through records management of risk & control compliance.- Work on ad-hoc requests based on business needs.- Understand how the work impacts the overall organization and bank strategies to make judgements and recommendations based on analysis- Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools/ methodologies when interpreting information and results.**Qualifications**:- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administrator, Engineer or a related field with at least 3-6 of experience. Preferred with more than 1-2 years of Planning and Analysis experience.- Understanding of Banking, finance products is preferable but not essential.- Intermediate financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models- Keen interest in business and economic environment- Financial Statements Acumen- Bilingual: English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.- Medium - Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills required. Knime and Tableau knowledge is a plus- Project management skills is a plus- Attention to detail oriented and proactive- Ability to collaborate within a team and across teams.
