**The KYC Americas Reengineering - PMO is an individual contributor who can understand, identify partners, coordinate, implement, monitor and share progress for a continuous process reengineering and project management plan. With deep understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire organization.**:***Responsibilities**:- ** Interact with analysts, team leaders, operations managers and other stakeholders to understand and document the current business process and work flows**:- ** Plan, lead and implement cross-functional process optimization initiatives by identifying improvement areas/opportunities to drive in operational efficiencies**:- ** Responsible for volume, quality, timeliness and delivery of end results of an area. Analyzing data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation**:- ** To reduce redundant or non-value-added steps; parallel processing; centralizing the process workforce; cross-training; use of technology as an enabler; building quality in at the source to reduce inspection and downstream defects**:- ** In control for motivating people to perform satisfactorily (Leading); determining in advance what the project will achieve (Planning); arranging resources in a manner that expedites the achievement of goals (Organizing) and determining how well a project is progressing according to plans and taking corrective action, if necessary (Controlling)**:- ** Accountable for the definition of the why the project exists, the goals to accomplish, who performs tasks, when to complete major milestones, how to achieve objectives and where to conduct tasks**:- ** Track the working process and evaluate its effectiveness with metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities**:- ** Identify, communicate, and report significant deviations from project plan / quality; overseeing the development of the project and ensuring that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding the company's standards**:- ** Continuously evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines**:- ** Other duties as assigned**:**Qualifications**:- ** 6-10 years of experience in project management, primarily in financial services**:- ** KYC / AML knowledge is a strong advantage**:- ** Advanced English required; Portuguese is an advantage**:- ** Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience**:- ** Experience with business process analysis, review, documentation and reengineering, including interaction at senior management level of businesses**:- ** Developed communication, team building and diplomacy skills to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers**:- ** Demonstrate oral communications qualities: to be articulate, concise, straight-forward, good listener, and able to read and understand the unstated (nonverbal) as well as the stated messages. Good at giving clear directions**:- ** Capable of processing great quantities of information, able to handle complex issues by changing mental focus and attention quickly.
