You will have the opportunity to discuss details in the interview.**About the role**:Responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing manufacturing and business process improvements that increase capacity, reduce lead-time, reduce the work-in-process, improve fill-rates, and improve process flow and efficiency. These actions will occur across multiple facets of Boston Scientific's organization including: manufacturing, design, supplier development, documentation, and Boston Scientific suppliers. Projects will incorporate lean manufacturing, theory of constraints, quick response manufacturing, Just-In-Time, Methods-Time Measurement, or a variety of other systems improvement philosophies. The employee will be required to create strong relationships with team members internal and external to Boston Scientific to ensure project success.**Your Responsibilities Include**:- Analyzes, creates and implements manufacturing and/or business process improvements that increase capacity, reduce lead-time, eliminate non-valued added, reduce work in process and improve fill rates.- Completes capacity analysis internally and/or at suppliers for headcount, equipment and space requirements using simulation software or other effective tools.- Designs, implements and maintains effective metrics with internal customers or suppliers to ensure unbridled supply is achieved.- Participates as a core member in cross-functional teams to quickly troubleshoot and eliminate product supply issues internally or at suppliers.- Makes recommendations to design teams, which drive higher yielding, lower cost, more manufacturable products.
