Job Description:The Jr Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) assists in maturing our organization's operational observability practices, addresses underlying performance and stability issues, and tracks down root-cause for enterprise incidents in our customer-facing enterprise platform. You will work as a part of a talented team of engineers focused on delivering mission critical expertise and support to ensure the highest levels of availability and performance.This role is a hybrid role in Heredia. Expectation is occasional (currently 1x a week) in office with flex scheduling and split-time available to avoid traffic. Datasite is willing to be flexible with employees to find the best solution for collaboration and work-life balance.Responsibilities:Identify and resolve a variety of system failures; continually training to become prepared for all possible issues.Utilize knowledge of Datasite's systems, services, and tools to become a troubleshooting expert within the Engineering organization.Maintain and manage the production monitoring systems that cover our platform from end to end.Use existing tooling to monitor capacity and scale systems ahead of need, using-fact based metrics combined with integral knowledge of our platform.Participate in the Platform Services on-call rotation to assist with production issues.Participate in after-incident reviews and drive the identified outcomes into our applications and systems to improve our client experience.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience2 to 5 years of development experience; demonstrated proficiency in one of the following: Java, Javascript, Python, Kotlin (or other mainstream programming language).
