Junior Accountant

**Responsibilities**- Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements.- Manage daily transactions and update accounting records in QuickBooks, including but not limited to, journal entries, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.- Support month-end and year-end close processes.- Ensure compliance with US GAAP or IFRS in all financial reporting.- Assist with audit preparations and other financial projects.- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.- Provide support in budgeting and forecasting activities.- Help maintain internal financial controls and procedures.- Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial procedures and workflows.**Qualifications**- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field. (Technical account) (Studies in accounting)- Knowledge of QuickBooks and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.- Basic understanding of IFRS, US GAAP and accounting practices.- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.**Nice-to-Haves**- Experience in a similar role or internships in accounting or finance.- Working towards or interest in pursuing CPA certification.
