The Lead Analyst, Inventory Accounting for the Medical Dvisiosn, will be responsible for executing the transactional accounting processes, for nominated divisions, to ensure the financial statements are complete, accurate and in compliance with Stryker accounting policies. They will also work closely with the Associate Finance Manager in communicating with the business unit Medical on resolving any operational challenges, continuous improvement to the inventory processes and supporting project work that may arise from time to time.**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:- Assist in all financial related matters related to day to day operations and scaling of the Inventory COE- Support SAP system configuration, testing, and wave deployments on behalf of the Inventory COE- Support in transitioning the Medical (and if needed others) to COE- Assist in scoping and implementation of required reporting from SAP BW- Support integration projects for business transfers into the COE - includes workstream meetings, systems and inventory cutovers, inventory adjustments, etc.- Prepare process documentation and assist the leadership team to migrate inventory processes into the COE.- As requested, perform ad-hoc analysis and perform special projects for Senior Leadership- Perform financial review of all CER and DAR requests- Prepare month-end journal entries and formulate required accruals in accordance with GAAP- Maintain balance sheet accounts associated with the Inventory COE to include gross and net accounts and complete balance sheet reconciliations in accordance Stryker policies- Calculate, reconcile, and analyze Inventory and Inventory reserves for period close- Ensure all Inventory reports generated by SAP are accurate, complete, and reconcile to the General Ledger.**Qualifications & Experience**:- 6+ years' experience in Audit, Accounting, or Finance (must have), with 2 years in inventory or supply chain.- Inventory / Manufacturing experience (preferred)- Proficiency with Excel (must have)- Proficiency with SAP S4 Hana and SAP BW (must have)- Ability to interpret and analyze data accurately and efficiently.- Fluency in English must have as well in Spanish- Pro active- Strong ability to coordinate action across dispersed workforce and highly matrixed organization- Strong written and verbal skills enabling effective communication with all levels of management- Effective problem-solving skills**About Stryker**:Stryker is one of the world's leading medical technology companies and, together with our customers, is driven to make healthcare better.The company offers innovative products and services in Medical and Surgical, Neurotechnology, Orthopedics, and Spine that help improve patient and healthcare outcomes.
