TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.**About the position**:This position is responsible for the proper execution of the import and export of materials, equipment, inputs and others in compliance with the legislation regarding the Free Zone Regime. In addition to providing leadership, experience and guidance for good performance in both plants.**Responsibilities**:- Supervise the correct transfer of materials between plants.- Supervise import and export.- Manage the export area, as well as supervise the export team (including executive, dispatchers and leader). (Shipping)- Work with production planning to align commitments with customers- Work with the quality department on the conditions of the materials to be sent- Maintain contact with transportation providers to build relationships and provide feedback on performance.- Advise the various departments on the proper customs management of an import or export.- Participate in global meetings on regulatory compliance in international trade for TE's medical unit.- Preparation of annual budget in freight expenses for import and export.- Supervise the correct invoicing of freight by carriers, both for import and export.- Supervise the electronic invoicing of the company.- Supervision of personnel that includes tasks such as: vacation management, allocation of compensatory bonuses, performance rating, follow-up meetings.**Competences**:- Minimum 3 years of experience in the logistics area.- Indispensable university studies in related matters (international trade, customs administration, laws, logistics and supply chain)- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and critically, with staff at all levels of the organization.- Competent organizational ability and effective interpersonal skills.- Ability to handle confidential and intellectual property information.- Ability to write routine reports- Ability to complete reports in Excel.- Knowledge of the free zone regime academically or by equivalent experience.- Intermediate - advanced English language**Competencies**:- Building Effective Teams- Managing and Measuring Work- Motivating Others- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation- SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers)
