**_MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE_**The maintenance engineer is responsible for provide technical support to equipment utilized in manufacturing and supporting areas by analyze equipment and maintenance data, identify and implement improvements on equipment, PM/DM process and processes related to Maintenance to achieve established maintenance and production metrics. Also supervise the maintenance technicians and all activities executed by them.**_ MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES_**- Responsible for compliance with applicable corporate, divisional and site policies and procedures.- Responsible to analyze maintenance and equipment data and identify critical equipment.- Responsible to perform root cause analysis on critical equipment and identify improvement opportunities or corrections.- Responsible for improvements or corrections on equipment and processes implementation, complying with the corresponding policies/procedures and complying with project plan (time, cost and resources). Also, responsible of coordination with the affected areas.- Responsible of provide support to audits on topics related to equipment and maintenance processes.- Responsible of providing support on exceptions related to equipment and maintenance activities, including execute or provide support to other areas or coworkers on all the exceptions stages and/or subtask completion.- Responsible to achieve department budget and metrics.- Responsible to provide technical support to Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians, and may supervise and lead some Technicians.- Responsible to provide support to technicians training and certification process, including update and create procedures, support testing and provide training.- Responsible of review and update maintenance procedures, including EMPs, EQPs, others.- Responsible to provide support on obsolete equipment and spares parts replacement, including identify new technologies, execute validations, others.- Responsible to create reports related to maintenance data and metrics.- Responsible to provide support related to equipment and maintenance activities to NPI, ME, QE, EHS and Operations projects.- Responsible of all the activities related to Maintenance Technicians on Kronos, Maximo, WD and other systems, including payment, performance evaluation, development plans, disciplinary actions, maintains personnel records (e.g., work schedules, vacation schedules, leaves) and makes or directs modifications in the database to reflect actual changes, others.- Responds to complaints on equipment and work orders (DM, PM and all WOs types), and create improvement plans and implements projects to improve the maintenance area and metrics/goals.- Responsible to procures needed equipment (including spare equipment), supplies and spare parts.**_ Education_**- Education Level_ : Bachelor degree- Major/Field of Study_ : Electronics, Electric, Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering.**_ Experience/Background_**- Experience_ : _3_ years_- Experience Details: _- Experience related to equipment troubleshooting, improvements identification and implementation, equipment design and/or equipment maintenance positions, preferred in medical devices companies.- At least 1 years of experience within the company.- Language Proficiency_ : _Advanced commands of English /_ _Required_- Preferred Qualifications & Education_:- Lean and Six Sigma knowledge/certification is a plus, as example: Yellow or Green Belt.- CAB/CAD knowledge required, including SW and AutoCAD. Preferred software certification.- Project Management knowledge/certification as a plus.- PLCs knowledge/training.- Statistical techniques knowledge preferred.- High leadership, ownership, capacity to analyze data, decision making, and strategic thinking required.
