What We'll Bring:TransUnion is seeking a passionate and results-oriented Product Owner to join our Analytics and Engineering Operations team. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our data marketplace and 3rd party data applications, from taxonomy, usage and billing to analytics support for internal and external stakeholders.This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.What You'll Bring:Streamlining Usage & Billing Operations:Manage the monthly usage and billing processes, ensuring timely data collection, processing, and accurate reporting.Develop and implement efficient workflows to optimize reporting cycles.Conduct business review/UAT testing on report outputs, identifying, and resolving discrepancies and bugs in collaboration with the engineering team.Driving Data-Driven Decision Making:Work with Account Management, Sales and Client Success teams to develop insightful analytics reports by combining data from our marketplace taxonomy, partner usage data, and financial information.Provide ongoing analytical support, answering client questions and creating reports for business reviews.Effectively communicate data insights and trends to inform strategic decision-making across the organization.Facilitating Cross-Functional Collaboration:Translate business requests from internal US teams into clear requirements for the analytics and engineering team located in India.Bridge the time zone gap by effectively managing overlapping workstreams and prioritizing multiple analytical requests.Foster strong communication between internal and external stakeholders, including revenue reporting to data partners and accounting teams.Impact You'll Make:Qualifications5+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.Strong analytical skills and experience communicating statistical results to various audiences.Demonstrated proficiency in Python and MySQL to manipulate and analyze data.Experience working with data quality control and data cleaning techniques.Proven experience collaborating with offshore development teams.Experience in the advertising or financial services industry (a plus).A keen eye for data visualization and the ability to create clear and compelling reports.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver positive and negative results effectively to business leaders.Ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and work in a fast-paced environment.Experience working in an Agile Kanban environment (a plus).C2 English language proficiency according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).Experience working with Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and finance teams.Product Management and Scrum certifications (preferred).Experience working in a multicultural environment and possessing cultural sensitivity (a plus).Bonus PointsExperience working in Eastern or Central Standard Time and facilitating communication across time zones.Understanding of data marketplace operations and billing systems.Proficiency in RImpact You'll MakeYou will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and data-driven success of our data marketplace.
