What We'll Bring:Sr. Consultant, Credit Risk Solutions is responsible for TransUnion's core and alternative scores and attributes solutions and requires an interest in product and program management. You will contribute to product strategy formulation and executing strategic programs which support the horizontal product capabilities that serve all industry verticals at TransUnion. The Scores and Attributes team owns all the U.S. Credit Risk (FCRA-compliant) proprietary and 3rd-party scores and attributes at TransUnion.This role will participate in implementation of the product plan, including gathering voice of the customer, as well as engaging key stakeholders. You will also contribute to the product roadmap and manage strategic relationships and programs.You will help evolve fundamental capabilities and products to create market-leading, high-growth solutions. You will define the framework, based on the market's current and future needs, to fill in any product capability gaps needed for success. You will develop and appraise new product ideas to determine their potential to address customer needs and to achieve high revenue growth. This role will contribute to all phases of the product life cycle, from inception through introduction into the marketplace, working closely with Product Development, Operations, cross-functional support, and other go-to-market teams. In addition, this role will help in managing a significant number of existing Solutions in one of the largest portfolios in CRS.What You'll Bring:4 years of experience in product management or the Financial Services industryUnderstanding of product management fundamentalsBachelor's or master's degree, preferably in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or another quantitative field.Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing in English throughout all levels of an organization. Analytic mindset and approach to solving problems.Strong collaborator with a problem-solving, design-thinking, customer-centric mindset; highly curious mindsetExudes accountability and ownership and is passionate about the fundamental customer/consumer problem.Solid organizational, project management, problem solving and decision-making skills with a high degree of comfort managing multiple assignmentsAbility to write SQL to query databases and summarize data into insightful and actionable resultsAbility to create and contribute to presentations for senior level leadership audiencesExperience creating Tableau dashboards a plusDriven by intellectual curiosity and independent thinking with a positive "can do" attitude.Strong written and verbal communication skillsThis is a remote position for candidates in Costa Rica, which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.Impact You'll Make:Contributes to business prioritization and product roadmap; helps develop business cases and rationale.Will assist with market-focused analysis and understanding of changing dynamics in U.S. CreditMonitors and analyzes product financials, KPIs, customer feedback, and the competitive landscape to identify gaps, weaknesses and opportunities in any part of product deliveryManages overall product health including the product backlog, ongoing product support and product sunset strategies. Will also participate in data and model governance to determine response to furnished data/reporting changes with material impacts (e.g., remediation, client communication strategies, etc.).Contributes to the overall revenue performanceHow You Will Contribute:StrategyGather market intelligence on macro-economic and industry trends, consumer behaviors, regulatory changes and hurdles, disruptive innovations, and competitive offerings to validate and refine our product roadmap.Partner closely with Data Science & Analytics and Global Technology counterparts while executing product strategyPlanningIdentify technical partnership needs and vendors to deliver integrated point solutionsHelp build product roadmaps in partnership with Market Solutions counterpartsContribute to 3YP strategic planning initiativeExecutionFocus on the tactical execution of bringing new products to market and managing existing productsCollaborate tightly with global product managers (SMEs) along with product development teams Own and execute compliance remediation for any Scores and Attributes needing itDesign and develop test-and-learn pilot campaigns with other support functions and business partners to validate key hypothesesTake part in relationship management with external partners and vendorsThis is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.TransUnion Job TitleSr Consultant, Product Management
