This position is responsible for meeting and/or exceeding the weekly output goals, improving processes and developing employees through training and other opportunities. This position is highly visible and requires a leadership style with regular presence in the areas of responsibility as well as other departments.**Major Areas of Accountability**:People management responsibilities for the manufacturing floor.Gather and analyze data and make recommendations on improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.Utilize Lean principles for making improvements.Work with Planner on build plan adherence to ensure customer satisfaction.Work with supply chain, warehouse, and materials on inventory accuracy.Partner with other departments on production requirements for project support.Responsible for PDPs/Reviews for staff.Partner with engineering and R&D on trouble shooting equipment/processes issues.Work with finance on identification of adjustments to work order/inventory/improvement opportunities.Assist Leads and direct reports in analyzing and resolving work problems.Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment and projects.Interpret company policies for workers and enforces safety regulations.Establish or adjust work schedules to meet production requirements.Responsible for the creation of Job descriptions and Training plans of all direct reportsResponsible to request all necessary accesses and specific roles to Coloplast systems for direct reportsAny additional tasks requested by the direct leaderOther duties as assigned.Performing their job in compliance with the guidelines givenDrawing attention to the manager to any difficulties in understanding or following the guidelinesDrawing attention to inefficiency of the systemTake responsibility for those safety aspects identified for the given position**Responsibility and authority**:**Responsible for the following within their area**:Implementation of requirements in the corporate quality systemClearly defining responsibilities and authority for relevant activities described in the quality system.Ensure awareness of the Quality policyEnsure awareness of their contribution to the effectiveness of the Quality system and the benefits of improved performanceEnsure awareness of implications for not conforming with Quality requirementsThe identification of needs and preparation of instructions, where necessary.Ensuring that the required resources and competences are available.Taking action if requirements from the quality system and/or regulatory requirements are not complied with.**Essential Qualifications**:Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineer or related.Fluent in English in all ways conversational, writting, reading and listening. At least B1+/B2.Minimum three years related experience and/or related training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Work experience in FDA or regulated industry.Experience working with inventory management systems.Experience improving manufacturing operations using Lean and Six Sigma techniques.
