Job DescriptionProductivity Leader (Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma (LSS) or Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Certification Required)The primary responsibility of the Productivity Leader is to strategize and execute LSS deployment within the business unit and show financial benefit in the form of cost and or revenue improvements. The productivity leader is a critical business partner to the senior leadership team and their staff. The successful candidate must be able to manage at all levels, from the executive suite to the floor and all layers in between. He/she must also be comfortable lending advice, influencing senior leaders, and giving direction at all levels and can roll up their sleeves when appropriate. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of management and organizational principles and self-motivation are essential.This position requires flexible work hours and travel and will have dotted line reporting line relationship to the Regional Head of Productivity.The Productivity leader will be expected to successfully:Deploy/expand Lean Six Sigma within business unit. Grow belt deployment to: 30% / 10% / 1% respectively for yellow, green and black belts over a two-year period.Conduct training and provide coaching to belts in achieving certificationsPerform assessments/discoveries utilizing analytical skills to find Lean Six Sigma opportunitiesPerform sound analytical studies in a less than perfect environment to achieve expectationsDevelop, manage and lead continuous process improvement strategies and initiativesExecute on Rapid Improvement eventsIdentify and execute projects to advance businesses strategic goals and objectives as an individual contributor or teammateIntroduce and sustain change across multiple culturesDevelop and deploy internal controls and organizational metrics dashboards per regulations and/or business needsDesign, improve and integrate Internal Process Plans for heavily regulated environmentsDesign and present business requirements based on process knowledge for technology implementationsIntegrate process solutions across multiple business functionsSupport smart automation deployments and Agile process improvementsResponsible for reporting on program status and metrics and active engagement with the Regional and Global Productivity teams and program enhancement activitiesQualificationsA qualified candidate for this position will possess the followingEducation/Certification:Engineering or Related Bachelor's Degree requiredLSS Certification: Six Sigma Black Belt and/or similar Lean Certifications from reputable program.ExperienceMinimum of 6+ years in consulting and/or service industriesMinimum 4+ years as a full-time BB and/with hands-on Lean expertiseParticipated in Enterprise level deploymentParticipated in and/or led at least 25 projects at GB/BB levelTraining, coaching, and scaling of LSS programsBackground in technology/data industry strongly preferredProficienciesDemonstrated mastery of Operational Lean and Six Sigma tools and Lean conceptsAdvanced data analytics tools beyond basic Six Sigma tools (e.g. Minitab)Proficient in executive presentation, training, and coachingTechnology savvy and experienced in improving software development, delivery, and support process improvementExperience in RPA/smart automation tools deployment and scalingDevelopment of metrics and dashboards using data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau etc.)Additional InformationThis is a permanent home-based role in Costa Rica.
