**Duties and Responsibilities**:**Proposal Responsible**:- Ensure the correct and updated information in the official tools for proposal development (ETT, CRM, Clarity and HCM).- Identify your stakeholders and participants during the proposal Process.- Strong interpersonal and political skills, including aptitude for building relationships, understanding team dynamics, taking initiative, and solving problems.- Interact with Internal Proposal Teams, Sales Leads, Operations, Sales, Sourcing, Legal, Logistics and 3rd party solutions.- Tasks assigned are of limited scope and complexity, usually as part of a broader assignment.**Commercial Role**:- Responsible for the compilation of services, materials, buyouts, and other proposal components pricing, payment terms, commercial compliance, and proposal basis terms and conditions.- Aid in the development of the commercial proposal strategy that mitigates project commercial risk exposure and best positions the execution team to allow scope and profitability growth.- Create innovative ideas and alternatives to develop cost competitive Proposals.- Work with the Technical, Legal, Procurement, other Emerson Divisions, to ensure all proposal related information is incorporated into the proposal submission documentation.- Work with the other proposal team members to develop Risk and Opportunity Assessments and Mitigation Reviews.- Assist in the development of Delegation of Authority (DOA) approval presentations.- Participate to develop Proposal Cash Flow.**Technical Role**:- Knowledge in the estimation of simple Engineering Services.- Participate to develop project execution schedules.- Knowledge of industrial processes (electricity generation, mining, oil and gas, others).- Knowledge of the product portfolio and its capabilities for the primary BU, and basic knowledge for the secondary.- Responsible for entering all Technical and Commercial information into EET.- Manage the Technical clarification and assumptions and ensure information contained within is properly presented in the proposal narrative to effectively bound scope and supply requirements.- Take ownership of all information required/contained within Emerson's estimating tools.- Complete client required Technical and commercial formats as necessary.- Ensure the timely and appropriate generation, collection, dissemination, storage, and disposition of proposal information.- Ensure the implementation of best practices and processes in proposal efforts.- Preparation of KOB1, KOB2 and KOB3 proposals.**Qualifications**- Excellent computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite of tools, especially Microsoft Word, Power Point, Project and Excel.- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Electronic, Electric, Chemical, Mechanic, Electro-mechanic engineering.- At least 2-4 years of technical and/or commercial experience with the ability to structure creative deals for customer solutions, negotiate contracts, and deal effectively with customers.- Control Systems Industry knowledge.- Prior experience in project proposals preparation (plus)- Strong oral and written communication skills.- Strong interpersonal skills.- English B2 - Portuguese(plus)
