Implement strategies and action plans to realize within region 2025 environmental sustainability goals focusing on renewable electricity and increased use of external recyclate.Initiatives you will be responsible for delivering include achieving our energy efficiency, water, and waste targets. Supports business growth through promotion of products based on their environmental performance.**Environmental Leadership**- Implement and update the Environmental Strategy at LATAM level and coordinate its implementation in alignment with Group Sustainability Strategy & Objectives.- Define KPIs & targets, with appropriate monitoring, reporting & analysis- Collaborate to the development & implementation of Group Environmental Management Systems including the development of new Policies & Standards, Processes, etc.- Develop & implement environmental action plans with key internal departments, e.g. in:- Raise awareness of emerging environmental issues and opportunities.- Build environmental capability and leadership across the different businesses and functions.- Provide access to technical assistance on environmental matters to Aliaxis companies.- Increased energy efficiency & lower carbon intensity of own operations.- Increased use of external recyclate and waste management.- Increased water efficiency at sites in water stressed areas & water stewardship.- Control and reduce environmental impact (air, soil, water, chemicals used).**Report sustainability performance to LATAM Leadership and Aliaxis Group**:- Maintain 3 to 5-year action plans and participate in yearly LATAM budget cycle.- Develop and report lagging & leading indicators and maintain dashboards on main KPI's.**Interact with internal & external stakeholders**:- Liaise with key internal departments to provide support and capture key environmental trends and designs with them the relevant action plans (e.g. use of recyclate, energy efficiency, eco-products).- Stay tuned on latest development in sustainability domain through external contacts.**Requirements**:- Bachelor degree in related discipline (Environmental science and sustainability, environmental engineering, chemical)- 3-8 years experience in program management, preferably in a chemical or related industry.- Advance level of English.- Proven track record of successful program implementation in complex, international and multi-stakeholder context.- Can-do attitude, fostering open communication and cross-functional/cross-regional collaboration.- Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse context.- Continuous improvement & problem-solving techniques.- Able to drive behavioral change in a complex, operational environment, through influencing, facilitation, and coaching skills.- Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
